Subscription orders close Monday night, we cook Wednesday–Thursday, and your cooler lands Friday. The pouch in your fridge was usually cooked 24–72 hours earlier — compare that with kibble, which averages 12–18 months from factory to bowl.
Refrigerate immediately on arrival: meals keep 4–5 days in the fridge or up to 3 months frozen. Thaw overnight in the fridge, never on the counter. Every pouch carries its cook date and lot number, so there's never any guessing.
Our fresh meals are formulated to AAFCO nutrient profiles in partnership with a board-certified veterinary nutritionist — including the details most home cooking misses, like the calcium-to-phosphorus ratio. Pantry treats are labeled honestly as "for intermittent or supplemental feeding" — they're snacks, not dinner.
Slowly — over 7 days. Start with about 25% fresh mixed into the current food, then increase the ratio every couple of days. Every first box includes a printed day-by-day transition guide. Sudden switches upset stomachs, even when the new food is better.
Start with Lamb, Lentils & Carrots — lamb is a novel protein most dogs have never been sensitized to. The single-ingredient pantry items (chicken jerky, sweet potato chips) are also easy elimination-diet treats. For complex cases, message us — we'll flag your file and can discuss options with your vet.
Orders placed before 12 PM qualify for same-day delivery (4–8 PM window); subscriptions ride our Friday routes. Everything travels in insulated coolers with gel packs, under 4 hours door-to-door. Not home? No problem — we deliver frozen by default and leave the cooler in your chosen safe spot.

By design. Raw diets carry meaningfully higher salmonella and recall risk — for pets and for the humans handling the bowls. Our entire line is gently cooked to a verified 165°F, which keeps the nutrition and removes the gamble.
Xylitol (fatal to dogs — we verify every peanut butter label), onion, garlic, grapes and raisins, added salt, spices, cooked bones, artificial preservatives, dyes, fillers and by-products. The complete banned list mirrors veterinary toxicology guidance, and it's non-negotiable.
